Members of WCVG participated as Honor Guard for the funeral of Korean War Vet, Jessie Monroe on Jan 14, 2019. Jessie is Father-in-law, to WCVG Member, Paul Duffley.
Our good friend and WCVG member, John Norcross died today, August 16, 2019. It was sudden and unexpected.

Hospital staff members, friends, and members of local fire and police departments gathered to observe the ceremony today. The flag was folded and presented to John's wife Elaine and taps was played.
Rest in Peace John Norcross
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of the "Heart and Soul" of the Wise County Veterans Group and the Director of our Veterans Museum in Bridgeport.
Bob had become ill with COVID-19 and spent a week in the ICU until his passing this past Friday.
