Jeep Project Photos

The WCVG is in he process of restoring a 1961 USMC M38-A1 Jeep that was owned by Bob Johnson.  It was Bob Johnson's vision to restore this old Jeep for the Veteran's Museum.  But when Bob died in October of 2020, the project had not been formulated.  WCVG has now acquired the Jeep and in 2023, appointed a Committee to guide the restoration of the Jeep.  The following pictures show that we have much work to do.  We have enlisted the support of the Bridgeport High School Auto Shop Class under the tutelage of Scott Carpenter, the Class Instructor and the support and Guidance of the BISD Superintendent, Dr. Amy Ellis.
